• Exploring Boundaries: The Lake Side Project

The Lake Side project is a massing study we’re currently conducting in Houston, but it’s far from an ordinary study. It’s an exploration of how architecture can seamlessly blend with its natural surroundings, creating a space where the divisions between man-made structures and the environment dissolve organically. The client brief was to craft a community center that effortlessly integrates with the natural landscape of the site. Our aspiration was for the building mass to be an intrinsic part of the landscape, a place where individuals feel a profound connection with both the constructed environment and the splendor of nature.

The true enchantment of Lake Side commences at ground level. Here, the design elegantly merges with the earth beneath it, achieving an architectural feat that blurs the distinction between the edifice and nature itself. This distinctive approach fosters an inviting space that extends a warm invitation from street level to the first floor. It beckons you to explore the unknown.

On the first level hosts a splendid public green park, a genuine sanctuary amidst the urban hustle and bustle of the city. It serves as a gathering place for the community to relax, rejuvenate, and forge a genuine connection with nature; cultivating a sense of unity seldom encountered in the heart of city living.

Excitingly, we’re currently trialling an extraordinary feature for our clients. In the near future, you’ll have access to interactive models of our projects on our website. This feature empowers you to rotate, zooming in and out to explore each detail at your leisure.

The Lake Side project will be one of the first to incorporate this immersive experience, and our intention is to introduce it to the majority of our forthcoming projects. This innovation enables you to intimately engage with our designs, fostering a deep appreciation for the meticulous thought and creativity invested in each one.
