Urban landscapes are perpetually evolving, demanding architectural interventions that balance functionality, aesthetics, and sustainability. The Sharnam Retrofit project underscores the potential of reimagining existing structures to harmonise with contemporary urban needs. The project revolves around the retrofitting of a high-rise building, capitalising on its existing infrastructure while imbuing it with a new sense of elegance and luxury.

The design presents a pioneering approach to urban architectural revitalisation, seamlessly blending modern aesthetics and luxurious living in a high-rise context. Through the strategic redesign of the existing building’s facade, the integration of an additional eight-story luxury apartment tower, and the creation of a state-of-the-art swimming pool, rooftop tropical garden space, and an exclusive country club, the project epitomises innovation and sophistication.

The existing dated exterior is poised to be transformed into a modern marvel. Through the integration of computational design methodologies, innovative design elements and material selections were iteratively explored. This fusion of old and new not only revitalises the architectural aesthetics but also contributes to the building’s integration with its urban context.

The crowning jewel of the Sharnam Retrofit project is the exclusive country club nestled atop the building. This elevated retreat encapsulates the ethos of luxurious living. With panoramic vistas, world-class amenities, and bespoke services, the country club provides residents an exclusive escape from the bustling urban environment.
